Day 31
Went to Niigata to check out a special aquarium which my brother had told me about. The entrance is free, but only open on weekends, and kind of small. Plus it was very well hidden in the middle of nowhere, one hour with bus from Niigata station on the highway.
The bus stop in the middle of nowhere.
The sign which led to me to the entrance was all faded and hard to see.
The design in the aquariums and their items are cool, but not really worth the 3 hours traveling, one way, for me who is not that much into aquascapes. But I'm sure anyone who likes aquariums will find this museum interesting and inspiring. This is one part of the bigger ones.
Small ones along the windows, and different tools on display.
Most buses in Japan works so that you step on at the back of the bus, and grab a ticket with a number on it from the machine. When you're steping off you look at your number and at the board to tell how much you need to pay. Then you step off at the front door, putting money into the machine next to the driver first.
